Pyrography

Pyrography

Pyrography lets me draw with fire, and this live-edge plank felt like the perfect page.

I followed the curves of the wood grain, burning in patterns that echo leaves, waves, and woven textiles until the surface hummed with quiet detail.

The natural edge, knots, and slight imperfections stay visible, so the wood keeps its own voice in the conversation.

Hung by its carved handle opening or laid flat on a table, it brings a warm, rustic presence to a room - like a fragment of forest wall art that still remembers the smell of smoke and the patience of handwork.
