Gourd Bowl I began as a simple dried shell that I carefully cut and hollowed, turning nature's handiwork into a shallow vessel. 

I dressed the outside in generous bands of forest green, earthy red, and luminous gold, then traced the seams with raised dotted lines that feel like tiny beads set into the surface.

Inside, a glossy finish deepens the colors and adds a soft gleam. It's lovely holding keys, jewelry, or simply sitting empty as sculpture.
