U-Neek-Elements is located in my Aurora home, where I turn walking sticks, abstract canvases, teapot ladies, gourds, and wall hangings into vivid characters. My path began in Destin in the 1990s, teaching myself through play, mistakes, and curiosity. Today I mix paint, texture, and thrifted finds, shaping quirky, colorful pieces that feel personal, joyful, and wonderfully U-Neek.
I am proud to say that I am a veteran who served in the USAF as a Nurse Practitioner. My career led me from my birthplace in Jessup, PA to my retirement in Anchorage, AK.
Moose is my three-year-old Morkie, and he is much more than just a pet to me. He is a loving companion who brings comfort, happiness, and emotional support into my life every single day. Even though he is small, Moose has a huge heart, and the love he gives makes a big difference in how I feel. He has a special way of making difficult days seem easier just by staying close to me.

Journey
Upcycling
One artist, bold colors, and repurposed materials create lively pieces that tell their own surprising stories.

Walking sticks, abstracts, teapot garden ladies, gourds, rain sticks, and wall hangings, each crafted as a true original.

I love rescuing thrifted treasures, gently transforming forgotten objects into colorful artworks with fresh character.

My journey stretches between Destin, FL in the 1990's to present day in Aurora, CO. My work is shaped by curiosity and color.
I am Marge, a self-taught artist who started experimenting in Destin in the 1990s. What began as play with paint and found objects has grown into U-Neek-Elements, a colorful home for walking sticks, abstracts, teapot ladies, and more. Every piece carries a bit of my story and a spark of joyful mischief.
Over the years I have learned to trust my instincts, especially when repurposing thrifted finds and household odds into art. I reach for vivid colors and rich textures, letting each stick, canvas, or gourd tell me what it wants to become. Browse the gallery or message me if you feel a custom piece whispering your name.
